My Newborn is from the concept of the Greek mythology story of the birth of Pegasus that sprang from Medusa's neck as Perseus was beheading her. The birth of Pegasus.

Standing tall and proud. Much like egyptain art of people, her body faces the viewer while her face is viewed from it's side.

I wanted to have lots of colors that are much like sand and colors you would see in the desert. I work with as much detail as I can.

Edit: Reworked the neck a little and worked on the dress more. Fix some things with the skin and gold.

Eve and the fruit. The first temptation right before the first bite into sin.

The flowers in the order front to back:

Almond - Virginity and Fruitfulness (What she in now)

Lotus - Mystery and truth (What the sin will give her)

Day lily/Hemerocallis - Emblem of the Mother (What she will become)

There is the bee on the Almond Flower taking from it and her innocence. She has her lips just ever so slightly open and eyes gleaming at the temptation in front of her.

This painting was so much fun. I really had no problems and loved doing every little detail.

I have not done and males in a long time and wanted to have something new to work on. I am shocked that it really didn't take long at all.
I have class in the moring until 5pm and I will not be able to work on this until then..so I went ahead and posted this. I am sure there is more I can do to this painting. If anyone sees something that is worth changing or making...I will update it. I just wanted to post it to see what others think.

This is an example of an idea for one thing turning a 180 and going the other way. As I was painting this it all came together to be about lost or losing the way. It is all in how you take it and the images meaning.

I have been finshed for a few days...but still not sure when it was done or if it is done even now. Over all I am happy at the moment with this painting but I am sure like my other pictures I will grow upset with the way areas are an wish I worked more on them.

I wanted to try something different. I used more of a painted look to this one. I really like to see digital paintings where you can see the brush stokes in most of the painting. This is my first Asian I have painted.

I really didn't use much to look at with this one. I wanted to keep it simple...but I did a lot more then I was planing.

I am still having problems with the clothes. I used a few brushes for the tattoo. I can't remember where they where from at the moment.

"For a few minutes you made me feel as though I actually meant something to someone, and just when I thought my life was coming together, I realized it was just starting to fall apart...."


This is my 3rd try at using a Wacom tablet. I would love to have feedback about how I can make this better. I painted this after I had a hard brake-up and wanted to show my thanks to him and my heart I gave in return. He taught me how to use a tablet and this was my gift to him. There is a lot of meaning and feelings behind this picture. There is everything from thanks, love and heartbreak, to my own way of my goodbyes.
